ADAN is hiring its next Public and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Adan is the trade association that brings together and represents French and European companies in the digital assets sector (crypto, blockchain, Web3, etc.). With over 100 member companies, it unites a diverse sector comprising, in particular, exchange platforms, fintechs, banks, players in tokenization, decentralized finance, stablecoins, and, more broadly, financial innovation.
ADAN works with French and European policymakers to help develop a clear and proportionate framework. The association also serves as a forum for dialogue, coordination, and expert advice for its members.
The Public and Regulatory Affairs Manager helps define, implement, and monitor ADAN’s institutional and regulatory advocacy strategy.
Main responsibilities:
1/ Represent the association in dealings with government agencies and advocate for the sector’s interests:

Gather members' priorities in order to develop the association's positions;

Organize and follow up on high-level institutional meetings;

Serve as a liaison between Adan members and government authorities;

Develop and present joint proposals to public policymakers.
2/ Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments:

Monitor legislative, regulatory, and institutional developments affecting the digital assets sector in France and Europe;

Analyze the implications of legislation and reform proposals for Adan members;

Produce analytical reports for the team, the board, and members;

Help coordinate the association’s internal activities (committees, consultations).
Qualifications
Education/Skills:
No prior experience with digital assets is required for this position.

A master’s degree or equivalent, ideally in public affairs, law, political science, economics, finance, regulation, European affairs, or public policy.

Experience in public affairs, institutional relations, ministerial offices, government administration, regulatory agencies, and Parliament.

Fluency in French and English to follow European developments, draft or review documents in English, and interact with international stakeholders.
Desired qualifications:

Ability to build and maintain a strong network for the organization within political and institutional circles

Expertise in monitoring legislative, regulatory, and institutional developments

Independence, ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and build consensus

Diplomacy and the ability to handle sensitive issues

Strong interest in financial regulation and digital innovation.
Terms and Conditions:

Contract type: Permanent contract

Location: Paris St Lazare; regular remote work is possible.

Salary: between $40,000 and $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience
