Adan brings together nearly 150 professionals—both new entrants and established companies—who work daily to advance innovation and use cases for the decentralized web across all sectors of the economy. By removing barriers to their growth and competitiveness, Adan works to foster the emergence and influence of French and European leaders in support of our digital sovereignty. Adan promotes a regulatory framework that is tailored, proportionate, and conducive to innovation, as well as a better understanding of new blockchain technologies and their opportunities.

Governance
Adan is run by and for its members. It is a democratic association in which every active member—who is a native of the area—has an equal vote at the association’s general meetings. Associate members—who are not natives of the area—contribute to the association’s activities and have an advisory role at the association’s general meetings.
Within the Association, Stanislas Barthelemi serves as President.
The President may make any decisions necessary for the day-to-day management of the Association. The President is responsible for implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly and for ensuring the smooth operation of the Association.
Within the Association, Mark Kepeneghian and Laurent Ovion serve as Vice Presidents.

The ADAN Board of Directors consists of 12 directors responsible for setting the Association’s strategic direction and overseeing its financial management. The Board is renewed every two years at an extraordinary general meeting. Only active members are eligible to serve on the Board and may vote in Board elections.

Members participate in the Association's operations. They are represented by the Association in dealings with institutions and are presumed to endorse its decisions.

Committees
LEGAL COMMITTEE
The Legal Committee consists of all members who are attorneys and whose practice involves providing legal advice to clients or similar services.
The Chair of the Legal Committee is Hubert de Vauplane, a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP.
PSAN/CASP COMMITTEE
The PSAN/CASP Committee comprises members whose activities fall under the category of Digital Asset Service Provider or a related category.
The Chair of the PSAN/CASP Committee is Yoann Briant, Secretary General of Coinhouse.
TOKENIZATION COMMITTEE
The Tokenization Committee aims to promote a regulatory framework tailored to the tokenization of assets and to clarify the various possible operational models.
The Chair of the Tokenization Committee is Mark Kepeneghian, CEO of Kriptown.
