Claire Balva joins Adan as Executive Director
Claire Balva will join Adan as Executive Director effective September 1, 2025.
A long-time advocate for the development of the crypto sector in France, Claire Balva has now become one of its leading institutional representatives. After co-founding Blockchain Partner, leading KPMG France’s crypto operations, and serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Deblock, she is now taking the helm of ADAN, which she helped establish in 2019.
This appointment comes at a pivotal moment, as technological changes in the sector coincide with geopolitical shifts. These transformations call for a rethinking of the challenges surrounding competitiveness, security, and sovereignty: the implementation of the first MiCA licenses, the intensifying European debate on stablecoins and payments, the structuring of use cases, heightened security requirements, and the taxation of crypto-assets. In this context, Claire Balva intends to rally support around a constructive vision in order to convey the association’s messages at both the French and European levels.
